The holiday season is a time for people to come together to share and celebrate the amazing gifts that have been given to us. The time we have to share with our family and friends during this holiday season is precious. It is also a time to remember the individuals in our community that are suffering from unemployment, chronic illness, hunger and homelessness.
In this season of giving, consider reaching out to one of the many agencies that help those in need. Organizations like MIFA, the Mid-South Food Bank and the Mid-South branch of Toys for Tots as well as many others help needy families throughout our community.
