During Planned Parenthood's Advocacy Day, HB2779/SB2582, will be heard by the House Health Subcommittee from 12:00-1:30PM CT. This is a Texas-style anti-abortion bill that would expose anyone helping someone get an abortion to a lawsuit. Unlike Texas, this is a TOTAL abortion ban. The chilling effects of this law would likely close clinics across Tennessee, as they already have in Texas. Wade is in jeopardy, and abortion could be illegal in Tennessee as soon as this summer.
